We get so tied up in our daily lives, that we forget to give ourselves some pampering. Our skin and hair get damaged a lot by pollution, sun, etc so let’s repair them.
Here are some top self-grooming remedies you can try at home
1) Easy Bleach Mask:
This one is my favorite of all as I have had a great experience from it. It refreshes your skin and fights all the pollution off of your skin. You will feel your skin tone get fairer after just using it for 3 days! All you gotta do is mix 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 tablespoon of honey and squeeze a small amount of half lemon. Apply this paste for 15 minutes and wash with cold water. This mask will be very light on your skin. Be careful not to use too much lemon as it can be harsh to your skin.
Do not try this mask if you have sensitive skin.
This mask made my skin fair and glowy in just 2 days!
2) Anti-tan mask:
Now this one works wonders on your skin. It takes a week to vanish all the tan from your skin. This mask helped me a lot during school days in the summer. My skin was getting horribly tanned by going out in the scorching sun of Karachi so my friend suggested I try this. You have to mix a half teaspoon of rice flour and 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply this onto your skin for 30 minutes and wash off with cold water. Scrub it when washing it off. You’ll feel amazingly refreshing after rinsing it off. Be careful not to scrub too much as excessive scrubbing may damage your skin.
3) Hair mask:
This one is my favorite mask for hair. It gives instant volume and amazing shine to your hair! Take an aloe vera leaf or gel and put 2 tablespoons of aloe vera in a bowl. Add three tablespoons of your favorite oil. I prefer Amla, coconut, or mustard seed oil. Lastly, add one tablespoon of honey. Make a well-blended mixture and apply it to your hair, mainly roots. Wash it off after an hour or half. This also helps to lessen dandruff.
